FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WINNEBAGO SEAT COVERS
Are your seat covers safe to use with Side Airbags?
Yes, all our seat covers will have a hidden cutout, or will have a special stitching designed to rip easily if the airbag were to deploy. All seat covers have been tested with real airbags to ensure they work properly in the case of an accident.
How long does installation normally take?
Our seat covers are easy to install. Sheepskins are generally the easiest taking only 30 minutes to install as they come in a 1 piece. Other fabrics take a bit longer as they come in 2 pieces and usually take about 45 mins to 1 hours to do 1 seat the first time around. Once you’ve installed a seat, you’ll find the next seat will be much quicker. You can view our seat cover installation video to get an idea of the process.
I have leg extenders / leg thigh supports, will these fit?
Yes! These are found in the Sprinter Chassis models from 2019 and later and our seat covers can accommodate leg extenders so that they are still usable.
Is there an installation video I can see?
Yes we have a few. Here is a Sprinter seat cover installation video
Can I upload seat photos before ordering?
Yes we’ve made it really easy to do so, please head to our photo upload tool or simply text us photos to 1-833-709-1888
Will I have to remove my seats in order to install these seat covers?
The answer is no. We’ve never had to remove the seats from a vehicle in order to install seat covers.
I have Swivel seats, will these work?
Yes! We’ve found that swivel seats do not affect the installation or the ability to install seat covers.
Will I still be able to use my power seat controls?
Yes you will. We do not block any seat controls as the seat covers are designed to tuck into the side plastic panel on the outer part of the seat where the control usually are.
Are these reupholstering kits?
No, we sell slipover seat covers. These are designed to go over your existing seats. You do not have to remove any of the original upholstery. You also will not have to remove the armrest on the seat.
My seats have armrests on the inside of the seat, do I have to remove these for installation?
No you do not, our seat covers are designed so that you can install them without having to remove the armrest.
My headrests are not removable.
That won’t be an issue. We always ask this when ordering seat covers so simply let us know and we will make an accommodation on your seat cover so that you can put them on without having to remove the headrests.
